Alek Sainovski  MCMHC, LCMHCA

Alek is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) accredited by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. Originally from Canada, he holds a Bachelor of Arts Joint Honors in Psychology and History from Trent University, obtained in 2020. In 2024, Alek completed his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University.

With a profound commitment to supporting individuals on their journeys toward emotional well-being, Alek considers mental health a delicate yet resilient aspect of our lives. He takes great privilege in guiding those in need toward a path of healing and growth. Alek strives to create a safe and compassionate environment where clients can explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and cultivate lasting resilience.

His therapeutic orientation blends Person-Centered Theory and Cognitive-Behavioral Theory, allowing him to tailor his methods to each individual's unique needs. Alek is eager to gain experience working with diverse populations at Preferred Choice Healthcare as he pursues full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
